The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the February 2019 election, Atiku Abubakar, on Thursday commended the reintroduction of the Anti-Sexual Harassment Bill by the Senate.

Ovie Omo-Agege , the Deputy Senate President, had yesterday during plenary reintroduced the Anti-Sexual Harassment Bill.

In a tweet by Atiku on his official Twitter handle, the former Vice president condemned sex-for-grade in its totality and believes the Anti-Sexual Harassment Bill will address the sex for grade scourge and get rid of predators on campuses.

He wrote: “I welcome the reintroduction of the Anti-Sexual Harassment Bill, a carryover from the 8th @NGRSenate.

“I hope that it will be one among several interventions in addressing the #SexForGrades scourge and in ensuring that our campuses are rid of predators.-AA”

Recall that not quite long, a documentary released by BBC exposed a lecturer with the University of Lagos, UNILAG, after he was caught on camera demanding sex from an undercover journalist who posed as an admission seeker.
