COVID 19: Good news in Nigeria as the US tops the chat of most hit countries

The Coronavirus pandemic is continually taking its toll as thousands of new cases of the deadly virus keep emerging across the world.

As at the time of this report, the total number of confirmed cases in the world stood at 1,017,567 with 53,249 deaths while 213,217 infected people recovered.

The United States of America tops the chart of the most hit countries with 245,373 cases, followed by Italy with 115,242 cases, Spain 112,065 and Germany 84,794.

The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) in a tweet on its official Twitter handle reported that “as at 08:00 pm 2nd April, there are 184 confirmed cases with 2 deaths”.

Meanwhile Nigeria has successfully treated and discharged 20 cases of the world most dreaded virus.
