Buhari makes early return to Nigeria from UK

President Muhammadu Buhari made an early return to Nigeria from his foreign trip.

Buhari who had been in London since Nov. 2 on a private visit, after a trip to Saudi Arabia was scheduled to be back on 17th November, 2019.

Confirming his arrival, the Presidential aide, Lauretta Onochie, said in a tweet on Friday night that the number citizen of Nigeria “Buhari returns from a working leave in the United Kingdom.”

While in the UK, the president met with the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Rev. Justin Welby, at Lambeth Palace.

Buhari attended three-day Future Investment Initiative (FII) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from Oct. 29, to Oct. 31.

He also held bilateral talks with King Salman in Riyadh, and also met with Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman.

The Prince called for the establishment of Nigeria-Saudi Council to promote investments and enhance relations between both countries.
