Manchester City striker, Sergio Aguero, was on Wednesday morning involved in a a nasty car crash ahead of this weekend’s clash with Crystal Palace.
According to thesun.co.uk, the Argentine striker, 31, is said to be OK after what is being called a “minor prang” – but his £150,000 Range Rover was left in a mangled wreck.
Aguero who was on his way to training before the crash smashed the driver’s side front wheel of the multi-million naira jeep.
It was reported that the Argentina international was unhurt after the accident.
Speaking on the development, Sky Sports presenter, David Gorrido said: “We understand he is unhurt after being involved in a small car collision, we’ve been told that he’s had a bump this morning.
“It’s been described as a minor plan, but has reported to the CFA – City Football Academy as well as the rest of the ancestor City squad and we understand he didn’t need to be checked the by medical team.”
Aguero, however, joined the rest of his teammates at the Etihad training ground without needing medical attention.
Recall that in 2017, Aguero was involved in a dramatic car crash after the taxi he was travelling in ploughed into a lamppost in Amsterdam.
A car crash in which it was widely said that the football star cheated death after escaping the crash with only broken ribs.
It was rumoured that the ex-Atletico Madrid star would miss in action for about two months, but surprisingly he missed just two matches.
